Status meetings exist because nobody can see the work. When every piece of feedback carries its own colour-coded state, the board answers “where are we?” before anyone asks. Reviewers watch their pins turn green; developers work the list without narrating it.
Because status lives per pin rather than per page or per ticket, partial progress is honest progress — three of five pins Done is visible as exactly that, not an ambiguous “in progress”.
